This is one of my all time favorite bridal photos because it is iconic Oklahoma.
It was taken during a pre-wedding session. A pre-wedding session is similar to a first look, but on steroids.
Or, you could say it’s like an engagement session, except the bride is wearing her wedding dress and the groom is wearing his wedding day clothing.
A pre-wedding session traditionally takes place months before the actual wedding day. The concept is popular in Asia and other cultures.
What are the benefits of a pre-wedding session?
# 1 If you can get past any superstitious fears about seeing each other in wedding attire before the wedding ceremony, it’s an awesome stress-free way to get creative photos in locations separate and more exotic than your wedding day venues.
# 2 On your wedding day you won’t need to worry about whether you’ve had enough time to get the creative, beautiful couple photos you hoped for.
What do you think? Would you want a pre-wedding session?
